Experience Luxury and Wildlife at West Midland Safari Park's New Lodges

West Midland Safari Park has just announced the opening of their new luxury lodges, offering guests a unique and immersive wildlife experience. The development includes eight lodges that provide stunning views of hippos and African wild dogs, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with these incredible animals.

What sets these lodges apart is their design, which is inspired by the animals themselves. Each lodge incorporates natural elements and chic finishes that create a luxurious and comfortable environment for guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

For those interested in African wild dogs, there are four lodges that offer expansive views into the dogs' habitat. These single-storey lodges can accommodate up to six guests, making them perfect for families or small groups. Guests can observe the dogs' natural behaviours and learn more about their conservation status as an endangered species.

If hippos are more your style, the park also offers four two-storey Hippo Lodges. These lodges feature open-plan living spaces, balconies, and two bedrooms, accommodating five or six people. Two of the Hippo Lodges are even wheelchair accessible, providing amenities for accessibility.

The highlight of the Hippo Lodges is the opportunity to witness the UK's largest pod of hippos from the comfort of your lodge. With upgraded viewing access from lodge balconies, guests can marvel at these magnificent creatures as they swim and play in their new, state-of-the-art habitat.

Both the African Wild Dog Lodges and the Hippo Lodges are part of the Park's ongoing commitment to conservation. African wild dogs are classified as endangered, while common hippos are considered vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). By offering guests the chance to observe and learn about these animals, the Park is creating awareness and supporting important breeding programs.

Bookings for the Hippo Lodge or African Wild Dog Lodge stays are now open at safari-lodges.co.uk, with availability from July 19 to September 30, 2024. Prices start from £515 per night for two guests, offering an unforgettable wild getaway for those seeking a luxury experience and close encounters with nature.

West Midland Safari Park has established itself as a premier attraction, attracting over 750,000 visitors annually. With its drive-through safari, Discovery Trail, dinosaur exhibit, and Theme Park, the Park offers something for everyone. The introduction of luxury lodges has enhanced the Park's offerings, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the wildlife and natural beauty of the surroundings.
