It's time to make room in the TARDIS because fan-favourites Anita Dobson and Michelle Greenidge are joining Doctor Who!

The BBC have recently announced that the two stars will be appearing in the upcoming series of Doctor Who, which is set to return in November 2023 with three special episodes to celebrate the show's 60th anniversary. That's right, Doctor Who is turning 60 and it's going to be quite the celebration!

David Tennant is confirmed to make a return as the Fourteenth Doctor in the anniversary episodes, while Ncuti Gatwa will take over the role of the Fifteenth Doctor when the series returns over the festive period in 2023.

Anita Dobson is best known for her role as Angie Watts in the classic BBC soap opera EastEnders, which she played from 1985 to 1988. She also appeared in Casualty and Doctors.

Michelle Greenidge has recently been making waves in the Netflix black-comedy drama series After Life, in which she plays the role of Valerie. She also had roles in Mandy and Code 404, as well as the comedy drama series It's A Sin.

The upcoming series of Doctor Who is sure to be an exciting one, with the addition of these two stars! We can't wait to see what they bring to the show, and how they'll fit into the adventures of the Fourteenth Doctor. With the 60th anniversary just around the corner, Doctor Who is sure to be the highlight of the festive period in 2023!
