Merlin and Cadbury Join Forces to Create Choco-tastic Experiences at Cadbury World!
Merlin Entertainments has just taken over the operation of the beloved Cadbury World in Birmingham, UK, bringing the iconic attraction into the world-class Merlin family. Visitors to the attraction can now expect a chocolate-filled experience with exciting interactive activities and demonstrations from in-house chocolatiers.
This huge step for Merlin Entertainments is part of the company’s strategy to partner with some of the world’s biggest brands, such as the LEGO Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and HASBRO. The partnership between Merlin and Mondel?z International was announced last year, and now Merlin is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Cadbury World site, its employees, and all operational decisions.
As one of the West Midlands’ most popular attractions, Cadbury World welcomes over 600,000 visitors every year. On-site, guests can explore a 4D Chocolate Adventure, a chocolate tasting zone, and enjoy chocolate demonstrations with a team of in-house chocolatiers. The attraction is also home to the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop and an on-site Cadbury Café.
Fiona Eastwood, Chief Operating Officer of Midway Attractions and Resort Theme Parks, said: “Cadbury is one of the world’s most famous chocolate brands and we are thrilled to have its brand experience, the legendary Cadbury World, join our growing Merlin family. We are excited to welcome the Cadbury World team into Merlin and work closely with them to accelerate the attraction’s momentum, entering the next stage in bringing Cadbury World’s iconic, immersive chocolatey experiences to life with an extra sprinkling of Merlin magic in the years to come.”
So, if you’re looking for a sweet day out, head to Cadbury World and experience all the chocolatey goodness that Merlin Entertainments has to offer!
