Napalm Lullaby: A Superhero Saga of Power and Liberation
The year is 2074, fifty years after a cult rose to power and turned Earth into a nightmarish theocracy. In the upcoming comic series, Napalm Lullaby, from the creative minds of Rick Remender and Bengal, readers will be transported to a dystopian world ruled by The Magnificent Leader. This apocalyptic superhero saga, set to launch in March 2024, promises to be a thrilling exploration of power, rebellion, and the quest for liberation.
Napalm Lullaby follows the story of two siblings, born out of wedlock to the cult's messiah. Raised in the toxic slums, they possess strange and uncontrollable powers. Driven by a burning desire to escape their wretched existence, they embark on a daring mission to infiltrate The Magnificent Leader's fortress and exact revenge.
Rick Remender, known for his work on popular series like Death or Glory, and Bengal, a celebrated artist, are reuniting for Napalm Lullaby. Remender, who had sworn off the superhero genre, found the idea too exhilarating to resist. He promises an unconventional take on the genre, combining elements of the Road Warrior with the iconic Superman.
Bengal, equally passionate about this dream project, has poured his heart into creating visually stunning characters that readers can truly care for. Together, Remender and Bengal have spent years crafting a story that is brimming with love, excitement, and artistry.
