Titled simply "The Beach Boys," the documentary promises an immersive journey into the world of the band that revolutionised pop music and came to symbolise the California dream.

The documentary will delve deep into The Beach Boys' rich history, tracing their journey from humble family beginnings to international stardom. It will spotlight their harmonious sound, which became synonymous with the sun-soaked optimism of California. Offering fans an unprecedented glimpse into the band's world, the documentary will feature never-before-seen footage and new interviews with key figures.

Interviews will include insights from original band members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, and Bruce Johnston. Additionally, notable artists such as Lindsey Buckingham, Janelle Monáe, Ryan Tedder, and Don Was will share their perspectives on The Beach Boys' enduring influence. The documentary will also feature exclusive contributions from Carl and Dennis Wilson, as well as new interviews with Blondie Chaplin and audio from Ricky Fataar.

Directed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny, and written by Mark Monroe, the documentary boasts a stellar production team.
