Rittenhouse Archives Unveils ‘Doctor Who’ Series 1-4 Trading Cards: Time to Get Collecting!

Rittenhouse Archives has released a new series of Doctor Who trading cards, featuring characters from the show’s first four series. The set includes 156 base cards, with three cards for each of the 13 episodes in each of the first four series starring Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant as the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. Fans of the show can look forward to photos and plot synopses for every episode, as well as a variety of bonus sets.

The set features four autograph cards per box, including one inscription autograph card per box, all signed on-card. Autograph signers include Christopher Eccleston (The Doctor), Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), Andrew Garfield (Frank), Shaun Dingwall (Pete Tyler), Dan Starkey (Commander Skorr), Christine Cole (Lilith), Sarah Parish (Empress of the Racnoss), Tommy Knight (Luke Smith), David Tennant (The Doctor), Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler), Annette Badland (Margaret Blaine), Jacqueline King (Sylvia Noble), Eric Loren (Dalec Sec), Will Thorp (Toby Zed), Sean Gilder (Sycorax Leader), Ryan Carnes (Laszlo), and dozens more.

In addition to the autograph cards, the set will also include 156 gold TARDIS foil-stamped parallel base cards numbered to 99 each, 156 red TARDIS foil-stamped parallel base cards numbered to 50 each, 48 Holiday Specials cards (six cards for each of the eight specials), 9 Rose Tyler companion puzzle cards, 9 Martha Jones companion puzzle cards, 9 Donna Noble companion puzzle cards, 9 The Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) puzzle cards, 9 The Doctor (David Tennant) puzzle cards, 23 Allies of the Doctor cards, and 32 Adversaries of the Doctor cards. Hand-drawn sketch cards will also be randomly inserted in packs and include cards by renowned artists, including Chris Meeks, Huy Truong, Kevin Graham, Paul Shiers, Norman Jim Faustino, Tirso Llaneta, et al.

Case toppers include a “My Doctor” metal card featuring Christopher Eccleston and a “My Doctor” metal card featuring David Tennant.
