UK's KitKat Craziness: 564 Fingers a Second and Tons of New Products!
It’s time to break out the KitKats and get ready to indulge in some serious snacking this year, as the UK’s favourite chocolate bar brand announces the launch of a host of exciting new products.
From a tantalising 2 and 4-Finger Caramel flavour, to the launch of KitKat Bites with Lotus Biscoff, and the nationwide rollout of the hugely popular KitKat Vegan, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The new Caramel KitKat will be available in a multipack of nine 20.7g bars, with a single 41.5g bar of the 4-Finger variety hitting shelves from April. Meanwhile, the new-look KitKat Dark (single 41.5g bar) with a refreshed recipe and packaging will be available from February.
If you’re looking for something a little more indulgent, then KitKat Bites with Lotus Biscoff might be the one for you. Delightful bite-sized pieces filled with the original Lotus Biscoff spread and classic crispy KitKat wafer pieces, these scrumptious treats will be available in a 90g sharing bag from the end of February.
And if you’re a white chocolate fan, then get ready to savour the limited edition KitKat Chunky White with Lotus Biscoff. With crispy wafer, topped with the original Lotus Biscoff caramelised biscuit crumb and filling and covered in smooth white chocolate, this 42g single bar will be exclusively in Tesco stores from March.
Finally, vegan fans can rejoice as the sell-out KitKat Vegan is back for good! Available as a single 41.5g 4-Finger bar, this plant-based break is made with a rice-based milk alternative for an indulgent-tasting chocolate and crispy wafer combo.
Talking about the new products, KitKat assistant brand manager Callum Smith said “We all need a pick-me-up at this time of year, and KitKat is the go-to for so many of us when we want to enjoy a delicious break at any time of day. With more choice than ever before, 2023 is set to be the best year for breaks yet!”
The UK loves KitKat! Every single second, 564 of its delicious fingers are consumed. That's an incredible one billion KitKats a year. But that's not all - the iconic chocolate bar is made right here in Britain, in Nestlé's factory in York, where it produces a whopping five million bars a day. Plus, they're all made with 100% certified sustainable cocoa - so everyone can enjoy a guilt-free KitKat break! So, what are you waiting for? Get your hands on the latest KitKat creations and treat yourself to a delicious break. Just don’t forget to indulge responsibly!
