UNIT Returns: Series 14 of Doctor Who to Feature Kate Lethbridge-Stewart and Newcomer Roger ap Gwilliam

The BBC has announced exciting news for Doctor Who fans as the beloved organisation UNIT is set to return in the upcoming Series 14, along with the beloved character Kate Lethbridge-Stewart. The new series, set to air in November, 2023, will also introduce the mysterious character Roger ap Gwilliam, played by Aneurin Barnard, and a brand new face to the TARDIS team: Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor.

UNIT, the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce, first appeared in the classic series of Doctor Who in the late 1960s. Since then, the organisation has been a common feature in the show, providing a strong and dependable presence in the Doctor's battles against alien forces. Led by Kate Lethbridge-Stewart (played by Jemma Redgrave), UNIT has often been the Doctor's first line of defense against the unknown.

The return of UNIT and Kate in Series 14 is a fantastic development for the show, and fans are sure to be thrilled to see the organisation back in action. It will be interesting to see how UNIT has evolved in the intervening years, and how the Doctor and Kate interact in this new era.
